【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthemeasurementofeaseofignitionofverticallyorientedtextilefabricsandindustrialproductsintheformofsingleormulti-componentfabrics(coated,quilted,multilayered,sandwichconstructions,andsimilarcombinations),whensubjectedtoasmall,definedflame.Thismethodassessesthepropertiesoftextilefabricsinresponsetoflamecontactundercontrolledconditions.Resultsmaynotapplytosituationswherethereisrestrictedairsupplyorexposuretolargesourcesofintenseheat.Theinfluenceofseamsonthebehaviouroffabricscanbedeterminedbythismethod,theseambeingpositionedwithinthetestspecimensoastobesubjectedtothetestflame.Wheneverpracticable,trimmingsshouldbetestedaspartofthefabricassemblyonwhichtheyare,orwillbe,used.
