【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationforthedesignandconstructionofpedestriancontrolledintegrallypoweredlawnaeratorsandscarifierswhicharedesignedforre-generatinglawnsby,forinstance,combingoutgrass,thatchandmossorcuttingverticallyintothelawnfaceusingtineswhichrotateaboutahorizontalaxis.Itdescribesmethodsofeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheiruse.Inaddition,itspecifiesthetypeofinformationtobeprovidedbythemanufactureronsafeworkingpractices.Throughoutthisstandard,theterm"machine"appliestothosemachinesknownasaerators,scarifiers,corers,lawnrakesorgrassrakes.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytoaerators/scarifiersmadefromamachinefallingwithinthescopeofEN709:1997whenfittedwithanaerating/scarifyingimplement,non-poweredaerators,verticalaxisaeratorsorthoseaeratorswhichcutintothesoilbymeansofareciprocatingmotionorbywaterpressure.TheelectricalaspectsofmainsoperatedmachinesarecoveredbyEN60335-1.Thesafetyaspectsofbatteriesotherthanbatteriesforstartingtheengineandtheelectricalsafetyaspectsofbatterypoweredlawnaeratorsandscarifiersarenotcoveredbythisstandard.Thisstandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttoscarifiersandaerators,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeClause4).EnvironmentalhazardsandEMChavenotbeenconsideredinthisstandard.Thisdocumentisnotapplicabletoaerators/scarifierswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
