【摘要】:ASTMregulationsrequireprecisionstatementsinalltestmethodsintermsofrepeatabilityandreproducibility.Thispracticeisusedwhenthenumberofparticipatinglaboratoriesormaterialsbeingtested,orboth,inaprecisionstudyislessthanthenumberspecifiedbyPracticeE691.Whenpossible,itisstronglyrecommendedthatafullE691standardprotocolbefollowedtodeterminetestmethodprecision.PrecisionresultsproducedbytheprocedurespresentedinthisstandardwillnothavethesamedegreeofaccuracyasresultsgeneratedbyafullE691protocol.Thisprocedurewillallowforthedevelopmentofusefulprecisionresultswhenafullcomplimentoflaboratoriesisnotavailableforinterlaboratorytesting.ThispracticeisbasedonrecommendationsforinterlaboratorystudiesanddataanalysispresentedinPracticeE691.ThispracticedoesnotconcernitselfwiththedevelopmentoftestmethodsbutwithastandardmeansforgatheringinformationandtreatingthedataneededfordevelopingaprecisionstatementforafiretestmethodwhenacompleteE691interlaboratorystudyanddataanalysisarenotpossible.1.1Thispracticedescribesthetechniquesforplanning,conducting,analyzing,andtreatingresultsofaninterlaboratorystudy(ILS)forestimatingtheprecisionofafiretestmethodwhenfewerthansixlaboratoriesareavailabletomeettherecommendedminimumrequirementsofPracticeE691.Dataobtainedfromaninterlaboratorystudyareusefulinidentifyingvariablesthatrequiremodificationsforimprovingtestmethodperformanceandprecision.1.2PrecisionestimatesdevelopedusingthispracticewillnotbestatisticallyequivalenttoprecisionestimatesproducedbyPracticeE691becauseasmallnumberoflaboratoriesareused.Thesmallernumberofparticipatinglaboratorieswillseriouslyreducethevalueofprecisionestimatesreportedbythispractice.However,undercircumstanceswhereonlyalimitednumberoflaboratoriesareavailabletoparticipateinanILS,precisionestimatesdevelopedbythispracticewillprovidetheuserwithusefulinformationconcerningprecisionforatestmethod.1.3AminimumofthreequalifiedlaboratoriesisrequiredforconductinganILSusingthispractice.IfsixormorelaboratoriesareavailabletoparticipateinanILSforagivenfiretestmethod,PracticeE691shallbeusedforconductingtheILS.1.4Sincetheprimarypurposeofthispracticeisthedevelopmentoftheinformationneededforaprecisionstatement,theexperimentaldesigninthispracticewillnotbeoptimumforevaluatingallmaterials,testmethods,orasatoolforindividuallaboratoryanalysis.1.5BecauseofthereducednumberofparticipatinglaboratoriesaLaboratoryMonitorshallbeusedintheILS.SeeStandardGuideE2335.1.6FieldofApplication8212;Thispracticeisconcernedwithtestmethodsthatyieldnumericalvaluesoraseriesofnumericalvaluesfordifferentfire-testresponseproperties.Thenumericalvaluesmentionedabovearetypicallytheresultofcalculationsfromasetofmeasurements.1.7Thispracticeincludesdesigninformationsuitableforusewiththedevelopmentofinterlaboratorystudiesfortestmethodsthathavecategorization(go-no-go)allocationtestresults.However,itdoesnotprovidearecommendedstatisticalpracticeforevaluatingthego-no-godata.1.8Thisfirestandardcannotbeusedtoprovidequantitativemeasures.1.9Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofth......
