【摘要】:Thisclassificationisusedtoclassifyandaidintheselectionofacousticalceilingproducts.1.1Thisclassificationcoversceilingproductsthatprovideacousticalperformanceandinteriorfinishinbuildings.Productsusedinperformancespacesandotherspecialapplicationsmayrequiremoredetailedspecificationthanprovidedbythisclassification.1.2Thisclassificationclassifiesacousticalceilingsbytype,pattern,andcertainratingsforacousticalperformance,lightreflectance,andfiresafety.Itdoesnotcovertheaspectsofacousticalceilingswhenusedasacomponentofasystemorassemblytestedforfireenduranceorfloor/ceilingsoundtransmission.1.3Thisclassificationdoesnotincludephysicalproperties,suchasstructuralhardness,friability,sag,linearexpansionandcontraction,andtransversestrength,whichmayaffectthehandling,installation,anduseofacousticalceilingproducts(seeTestMethodsC367).1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.
