【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverthepreparationandelectricaltestingofinsulatingpaperandboardimpregnatedwithaliquiddielectric.Theyprovideformeasuringdissipationfactor(powerfactor),permittivity(dielectricconstant),anddielectricstrength.Wherethesemethodsstateonly"paper,"thesameprocedureshallapplytoboard.Thesetestmethodshavebeenfoundpracticableforpapershavingnominalthicknessof0.05mm(2mil)andabove.Theyhavebeenusedsuccessfullyforinsulatingboardasthickas6mm(1/4in.)whencareistakentoassurethespecimengeometrynecessaryforvalidmeasurementofdielectricproperties.Suitablegeometrydependsontheelectrodesystemused.Rigidsolidopposingelectrodesrequireflatspecimensthathaveessentiallyparallelsurfaces.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
